(This makes them soft enough to eat the shell too).

Then I remove the stringy bits and spread them out on a baking sheet to bake until lightly toasted and dry.MCarpenterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16674627809293464202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3570935788144601416.post-49239475298305229772010-07-16T13:11:21.715-07:002010-07-16T13:11:21.715-07:00I dont roast my pumpkin seeds but I I do feel a bi...I dont roast my pumpkin seeds but I I do feel a bit guilty about that! It's so odd to realize we're in different seasons.
Do you roast your pumpkin seeds for eating? I love to do that. (This is one American that makes everything from scratch--I even grind my grains).MCarpenterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16674627809293464202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3570935788144601416.post-52677506771220471542010-07-16T08:54:43.089-07:002010-07-16T08:54:43.089-07:00Oh yum! They don't make too much from scratch so it's easy to impress them lol! Sometimes I'll add a bacon hock to it and let it simmer for a few hours until the bacon hock gets all tender and it gives the soup a yummy smoky flavor. No gluten either!Joannahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09642660969316877122noreply@blogger.com
